Welcome to the official NTS NEWS Terms of Service, Subscriber Guidance and Troubleshooting Centre. This document explains the policies, procedures, subscription terms and operational standards that govern the NTS NEWS platform and community.
It also serves as a support resource for subscribers seeking clarification regarding payments, subscriptions, account management, commenting privileges, premium access, data collection and other operational matters.

1. FINANCIAL TERMS & PAYMENT POLICIES
1.1 Accepted Currencies
To simplify international transactions, NTS NEWS accepts multiple currencies at internally maintained exchange rates intended to closely reflect prevailing market rates.
Exchange rates may be updated periodically if significant currency fluctuations occur. The currency charged during checkout is generally determined automatically based on the payment method or card issuer used.
In certain circumstances, payment processors may reject transactions due to regional banking restrictions or unsupported currency processing. If this occurs, subscribers may:
attempt payment using an alternative payment method;
arrange an approved cash payment session where applicable; or
continue using the free subscription tier.
Founding Member Contributions
Founding Member status is granted automatically to subscribers who contribute at least £20 (or the equivalent amount in another accepted currency).
The Founding Member contribution level is recommended, not mandatory. Contributions above the minimum threshold are voluntary.
1.2 Free vs Premium Subscriptions
NTS NEWS offers both free and paid subscription options.
Free Subscription Benefits
Free subscribers may:
access publicly available articles;
receive newsletters and updates;
participate in selected community activities; and
access limited content before paywalls.
Premium Subscription Benefits
Premium subscribers receive additional benefits, including:
access to subscriber-exclusive content;
access to article archives;
access to the Dining Divulgence newsletter;
commenting and voting privileges;
the ability to access content beyond paywalls; and
other premium features introduced periodically.
Revenue generated through paid subscriptions is reinvested into platform growth, operational costs and content production.
1.3 Cash Payments
Where geographically practical, NTS NEWS may permit in-person cash payments at mutually agreed public locations.
Important Conditions
Card readers are not available during cash transactions.
Website payments must be completed online.
Cash payment values are determined using the NTS NEWS exchange-rate schedule.
Unsupported currencies may be subject to additional conditions.
Additional Conditions for Unsupported Currencies
For currencies not listed in the official exchange-rate schedule:
payment must equal the required subscription amount converted into the chosen currency;
an additional handling fee equivalent to £1.50 may apply;
coins worth less than £0.10 GBP equivalent are not accepted; and
split payments (part cash, part card) are not permitted.
These additional conditions do not apply to INR or currencies already listed in the official exchange-rate schedule.
1.4 Reserved Financial Rights
NTS NEWS reserves the right to:
modify pricing structures;
update exchange rates;
revise payment conditions;
alter subscription benefits; and
amend financial policies without prior notice.
Updated terms will be reflected on this page when changes occur.
1.5 Accepted Payment Cards & Payment Failures
NTS NEWS processes online payments through Stripe and accepts most major debit and credit cards, including:
Visa;
Mastercard;
American Express; and
other supported regional providers.
Common Reasons for Payment Failure
Transactions may fail due to:
unsupported currencies;
banking restrictions;
failed authentication;
regional payment limitations;
card issuer security checks; or
processing errors.
In certain regions, including India, payment failures may occur more frequently due to local banking regulations. In such cases, subscribers may contact NTS NEWS regarding alternative payment arrangements.
1.6 Subscription Renewals
Free Subscriptions
Free subscriptions continue indefinitely unless cancelled by the subscriber.
Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions renew automatically according to the selected billing cycle (monthly or annually).
Subscribers are responsible for cancelling subscriptions before the renewal date if they no longer wish to continue service.
Failed Cancellations & Refund Requests
If a cancellation issue occurs:
subscribers should contact NTS NEWS immediately;
refunds are not guaranteed; and
processing fees, taxes and third-party costs may reduce refundable amounts.
All refund requests are assessed individually.
1.7 Alternative Payment Methods (Beta Programme)
NTS NEWS operates a limited beta programme for additional payment methods, including:
iDEAL;
Bancontact;
SEPA Direct Debit;
Sofort; and
Discover.

Restrictions
NTS NEWS reserves the right to deny alternative payment access for security, operational or compliance reasons.
This feature may not be available to:
suspended users;
banned users;
previously blocked accounts; or
users who violated platform policies.
2. CHARITABLE INITIATIVES
NTS NEWS supports charitable fundraising initiatives, including support for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
While NTS NEWS is not an official partner organisation, the platform may:
donate portions of proceeds;
organise fundraising campaigns;
host awareness events; and
release selected charity-supporting products.

3. PAYWALLS & PREMIUM CONTENT
3.1 Definition of a Paywall
A paywall is a content restriction mechanism that limits access to premium content.
Public Content
Content displayed before a paywall is publicly accessible to:
paid subscribers;
free subscribers; and
non-subscribers with article access.
Premium Content
Content beyond the paywall is restricted to premium subscribers only.
Paywalls may appear after introductory sections, cliffhangers, previews or partial article excerpts.
3.2 How Paywalls Appear
Website Experience
On the website, paywalls appear as subscription prompts displayed between publicly accessible and premium sections of an article.
These prompts may:
advertise subscription plans;
offer temporary free trials; or
encourage premium upgrades.
Email Experience
In email newsletters, paywalls appear as a notice informing readers that additional content requires a premium subscription.
The email version typically includes:
subscription upgrade options;
premium benefit summaries; and
temporary promotional offers where applicable.
4. SUBSCRIBING TO NTS NEWS
4.1 Initial Website Subscription
When first visiting the NTS NEWS website, visitors may encounter a subscription prompt requesting:
an email address; and
plan selection.
Available plans may include:
Free;
Monthly Premium;
Annual Premium; and
Founding Member.
Paid plans require online payment completion.
4.2 Subscribing Later
Visitors who initially dismiss subscription prompts may subscribe later using the “Subscribe” button available throughout the website interface.
Selecting this option redirects users to the subscription page where:
an email address is entered;
a plan is selected; and
payment information is provided if necessary.
5. REFERRAL PROGRAMME
NTS NEWS operates a referral rewards programme that allows subscribers to earn benefits by referring new users.
Potential rewards may include:
complimentary premium access;
extended subscription periods;
promotional rewards; and
occasional gift incentives.
Subscribers can access referral tools through the account or profile navigation menu.

6. CONTENT SHARING, RESELLING & SOCIAL MEDIA USE
6.1 Permitted Sharing
Subscribers may:

recommend NTS NEWS to others.
Prohibited Conduct
Subscribers may not:
reproduce articles through copy-and-paste distribution;
redistribute premium content without permission; or
bypass engagement tracking systems.
6.2 Resale Prohibition
All NTS NEWS content is protected under copyright law.
Unauthorised resale, redistribution or monetisation of NTS NEWS content is strictly prohibited.
Enforcement Actions
NTS NEWS reserves the right to:
terminate subscriptions without refund;
revoke access permanently;
recover revenues generated through unauthorised use; and
block access to the platform.
6.3 Uploading Content to Social Media
Written permission from NTS NEWS is required before uploading:
articles;
branding materials;
graphics;
premium excerpts; or
proprietary imagery.
Violations may result in:
temporary suspension;
revenue recovery actions; or
subscription penalties.
7. DATA COLLECTION & PRIVACY
7.1 Data Collected
NTS NEWS may collect:
names;
email addresses;
phone numbers;
billing information;

uploaded profile images;
marketing preferences;

IP addresses;

8. COMMUNITY RULES & COMMENTING POLICY
8.1 Prohibited Behaviour

offensive or inappropriate language.
8.2 Comment Formatting & Conduct
Subscribers should:
avoid excessive capitalisation;
avoid repetitive posting;
avoid excessively long comments;
avoid duplicate comments; and
communicate respectfully.
8.3 Reporting Violations
Users may report comments using the reporting tools provided on the platform.
Moderation reviews may take several days depending on queue volume and investigation requirements.
8.4 Enforcement Rights
NTS NEWS reserves the right to:
remove comments;
revoke commenting privileges;
suspend accounts; or
permanently terminate subscriptions.
9. COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All NTS NEWS content is protected under copyright ownership attributed to Ahrin Jain unless otherwise stated.
Subscribers are granted limited viewing access only and do not obtain ownership rights over any material.
NTS NEWS reserves full authority to:
edit;
remove;
license;
protect; and
regulate use of its intellectual property.
10. TEASERS, BONUS CONTENT & SCHEDULES
10.1 Teaser Accuracy
Future article previews (“Teasers”) are subject to change.
Planned articles may:
be delayed;
be revised; or
be cancelled entirely.
NTS NEWS accepts no liability for teaser inaccuracies.
10.2 Bonus Content
Bonus content is supplementary material separate from core subscription obligations.
NTS NEWS does not guarantee:
update frequency;
permanent availability; or
continuity of bonus sections.
10.3 Publishing Schedule
Publishing schedules are estimates only.
Operational delays may occur due to:
editorial revisions;
staffing limitations;
technical issues; or
unforeseen circumstances.
Where significant disruptions occur, NTS NEWS may temporarily pause billing at its discretion.
11. FOUNDING MEMBER TERMS
Founding Members may receive:
permanent recognition;
exclusive notices;
special communications; and
additional benefits determined by NTS NEWS.
Benefits may evolve over time.
NTS NEWS reserves final authority regarding:
programme structure;
eligibility;
featured notices; and
operational decisions.
12. CUSTOMER PROFILE TROUBLESHOOTING
12.1 Account Access Delays
Customer profile access may occasionally require email verification.
Verification emails may experience delays due to:
email provider filtering;
server congestion;
spam filtering; or
authentication processing.
Recommended Troubleshooting Steps
Wait several minutes.
Check spam or junk folders.
Ensure the correct email address was entered.
Retry the login process if necessary.
NTS NEWS does not provide compensation for temporary profile-access disruptions.
13. GOVERNING LAW
NTS NEWS operates under the laws of the United Kingdom.
Subscribers are responsible for complying with all laws applicable in their own jurisdiction while using the platform.
Criminal conduct associated with the platform may result in immediate account termination and permanent bans.
14. EXTERNAL PRODUCTS & SERVICES
NTS NEWS may offer or promote additional products and services, including:
digital music;
QR code services;
advertising opportunities;
physical publications; and
themed merchandise.
Availability, pricing and delivery timelines may change without notice.
NTS NEWS reserves the right to:
remove products;
alter prices;
delay deliveries;
modify digital content; or
discontinue services.
15. ONE-TIME PASSWORDS (OTPs)
One-Time Passwords (“OTPs”) are security codes issued exclusively for account verification purposes.
Security Requirements
OTPs are sent only by email.
NTS NEWS staff will never request an OTP.
OTPs should only be entered directly on the official NTS NEWS website.
Subscribers must never share OTPs with any third party.
Unauthorised sharing of OTP credentials may result in:
account compromise;
platform security risks; or
enforcement action.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
NTS NEWS does not guarantee:
uninterrupted service;
permanent feature availability;
error-free operation;
uninterrupted access to bonus content;
teaser accuracy;
uninterrupted third-party payment processing; or
availability of external links or products.
Subscribers use the platform at their own discretion and risk.
