I've been freezing my toes off over the last couple of months down here in the Southern Hemisphere, but I can't say I envied the rest of the world their heat wave. It's really quite scary what climate change (and the billionaires responsible) are doing to the world 😭

After a colder-than-usual NZ winter, though, I will admit that I'm kinda sorta looking forward to those long hot days of summer.

Both the Northern heat wave and the anticipation of warmer days had something to do with inspiring my latest book. Might be a bit triggering for those who've been suffering the heat, however 😉
