New Wow! Signal this Friday & Planting Workshop moved to next week

Happy Earth Day, everyone!

Just a quick note to say two things:

• The abolitionist planting workshop (originally planned for tonight) has been moved to next week! If you are interested in attending, please sign up at bit.ly/PlantLiberation.
• This Friday night, a new episode of the Wow! Signal comes through! This episode, our fourth, is all about the constellations of the zodiac, and features the same heady mix of space science, catchy music, homemade puppets, and absurd comedy you know and love (or maybe... you haven't watched yet? Get on it!). The episode premieres this Friday night at 8pm CDT, and we'll be there in the chat if you watch live (but if you can't make that time, it will be available after that to watch-- or rewatch-- at your leisure).

I hope you can find some time to go outside today to appreciate our beautiful, habitable planet, even if just for a few minutes. In addition to being our home, the Earth teaches us everything we know about life in the universe... at least so far.
