Last few hours for tomorrow’s Art-Science Workshop (and more ahead)

LEFT-ALIGN A_LG.jpg

Hey friends,

This is a rare cross-post with my workshop mailing list to let everyone know I have a new series of live workshops this month, and the first one is tomorrow!

Art Through Science / Science Through Art is a series of 2 hour online sessions for creative learning and exploration. These workshops are designed to be bite size, relaxed, and affordable. I hope these will be fun for all of you who’ve worked with me before, AND that it will open up some opportunities for anyone who has wanted to take a larger creative workshop with me, but hasn’t quite made it happen yet. You can take individual workshops, more than one, or all of them! This series is also appropriate for all ages, so you can come to spend some time doing creative exploration for yourself, and/or you can bring your kiddo and make a family activity out of it!

Tomorrow, Feb 12 from 10am-noon Central, we’ll be exploring alien life 👾 through the artistic lens of texture. It’s not too late to sign up, so grab your ticket here.

Here’s how it works:

During the first hour, you’ll learn about that week’s science theme through an interactive, multimedia talk, with ample time for questions and discussion. In the second hour, we’ll explore the day’s topic by making art together with creative prompts! Each class focuses on an element of art (eg line, color, texture, etc), but you’re always free to go where your creativity takes you!

No special materials needed: Science is for everyone: you don’t need to know anything about it (but you’ll leave knowing a new thing or two!) Art is for everyone: make art with anything you have around the house!

Click here to see the full schedule of science/art exploration themes, and sign up for future workshops with the theme of your choice.
