And now: you can buy your ticket to come to North Bay Python 2017! Tickets start at $25 for individuals, and $180 for people who are attending on behalf of their employer.
- First 100 tickets sold by Friday, October 20 are discounted
- Discounted hotel rooms in Petaluma are available until Wednesday, November 1
- T-shirts can be ordered until Tuesday, November 7
Soon we’ll announce our keynote speakers and release the program schedule!
If you need help convincing your manager to send you and your colleagues to the conference, we’ve put together a sample business case that you can start your own case from. Companies that send 5 or more people can get their tickets at the early bird rate, too!
Work for a company that uses Python and can afford to sponsor events to help with objectives like recruiting and developer outreach? This nonprofit community-run event is still seeking sponsors.
Our program committee is hard at work reviewing 117 proposals from 82 people interested in speaking at North Bay Python 2017. People who proposed talks will hear back soon.
We are beyond-words-grateful to the communities and individuals that helped us get the word out, to all of the people who encouraged and mentored others, and, of course, to the individuals who spent time crafting and submitting proposals, and the wonderful cast of people who are reviewing those proposals.
We would also like to thank the sponsors who have already joined us: Python Software Foundation, Software Freedom Conservancy, Google Developers, Yelp, LaunchDarkly, Django Software Foundation, Visit Petaluma, and Heroku.
That’s all for now -- see you in two months!
Cheers,
Josh
