Seeking proposals from people interested in speaking at North Bay Python 2019
Planning for North Bay Python 2019 is underway and we're pleased to announce that we're now accepting proposals for conference talks! You can learn more and submit yours now by going to northbaypython.org/speak
The deadline for submitting a proposal is Friday, August 9th.
Never given a talk at a conference? Great! We want fresh perspectives and can help you craft a proposal and presentation. We offer lots of guidance and links to additional resources on our website. You can reach Sam, our program chair, at program@northbaypython.org. You can also find us on IRC in the #nbpy channel on the Freenode network. New to IRC? You can use this web client to connect.
Looking for inspiration? We provide a list of suggestions on our website and watch videos from previous years at youtube.com/northbaypython.
Ping us anytime or drop by IRC during one of our regularly scheduled office hours. We’ll be holding office hours every Wednesday at 7pm and Friday at 3pm Pacific Time. The first is this Friday and the last is on the day we close submissions.
Again, the deadline is Friday, August 9th. You’ll hear if your proposal has been accepted the week of August 23rd.
We can't wait to hear from you!
Cheers,
Josh
PS. We're also looking for sponsors – you can find our prospectus here. Please pass it on!
