Now seeking talk ideas (and attendees) for North Bay Python 2025
Happy New Year, Pythonistas!
It is, in fact, already time to start thinking about North Bay Python 2025, which is coming up in less than four months’ time! We’re returning to Reis River Ranch in the Petaluma Valley on April 26th and 27th.
If you want to speak at the conference, our call for talk submissions is now open. Talks at North Bay Python are usually 25-30 minutes long, and explore topics about Python itself, and how Python shapes the world and society around us. If you’re looking for inspiration, you can find most of the talks from past conferences at our YouTube channel.
The last day to submit talk proposals is Friday, February 7th. You can submit your proposals at our proposal submissions page.
And if you’re interested in attending the conference, we’re already selling tickets! Tickets start at $200 for unaffiliated individuals: there are also options to contribute more to the sustainability of the conference (including our elusive comfy armchair ticket). Get your ticket today (or sometime in the next month or two, but the sooner the better frankly)!
Finally, if you aren’t already, follow us on social media. We keep a presence on the Fediverse (Mastodon) at @NorthBayPython@social.northbaypython.org and as of this year, we’re also on Bluesky as @NorthBayPython.org.
You’ll hear more from us soon, and we’re looking forward to seeing your talk proposals!
