Jacob Kaplan-Moss is speaking at North Bay Python 2019!
Hello, Python fans!
Tickets are still on sale for North Bay Python 2019, and now it’s time for us to announce our first featured speaker.
It’s Jacob Kaplan-Moss!
A long-time Northern California local (though he now lives in Virginia), Jacob is well known in the Python world as one of the original developers and long-time project co-leader of Django.
He’s led security teams at Heroku, did a stint in public service at 18F, and now works as Principal Engineer at Hangar, an investment company that builds companies designed for public impact.
In his spare time, Jacob runs incredibly long distances for fun, and he skipped last year’s North Bay Python to walk 2600 miles from Northern Washington to Southern California along the Pacific Crest Trail. You can find him on Twitter at @jacobian.
We’re excited to hear Jacob’s featured talk at North Bay Python! You can get your tickets at northbaypython.org/attend – they're available from $50 for individuals, and $200 for professionals.
