Introducing the North Bay Python 2023 program!
We’re excited to be able to bring you the full list of talks for North Bay Python 2023!
This year’s program includes 16 sessions by speakers from places as near as Petaluma, and as far afield as the UK and Australia. We have talks that focus on better Python programming, AI, workplace culture, data science, accessibility, ops and more.
You too can join us in Petaluma on July 29th and 30th — tickets are available at https://pretix.northbaypython.org/nbpy/nbpy-2023/ — and are limited to 150 in total.
Highlights from this year’s program include Django co-creator and developer of open source data journalism tools, Simon Willison, unpicking the hype around large language models, and helping us to understand where they’re actually useful.
Python Core Developer and current PyCon US Chair, Mariatta, will give us a PEP Talk, giving us an insider’s view of how Python gains new features, and how you can help shape the future development of Python.
You’ll also get to enjoy a talk on Python’s special methods delivered in Dr Seuss-style rhyming couplets, a deep dive into troubleshooting high-stakes hardware faults (Battlebots!), and a guide to using Python to drive civic engagement.
And that’s less than half the program!
