Hotels, t-shirts, and Brandon Rhodes at North Bay Python 2017
Hi, it’s Josh here with a few reminders and announcements now that North Bay Python 2017 is just a month away!
First, book your hotel room before Wednesday, November 1st. We have room blocks and preferred rates available at two great hotels near the conference venue, but they expire soon.
Second, you can still buy tickets, starting at $50, and t-shirts. The last day to buy t-shirts is Tuesday, November 7th, so register by then if you want one.
Last, and certainly not least, we’ve posted all 20 sessions to the website and are thrilled to announce that Brandon Rhodes is going to join us as a keynote speaker at our inaugural conference!
Brandon has been a Python user for 20 years, and a speaker at Python conferences for almost a decade. In fact, he was the Chair of PyCon 2016 and 2017. His talks make connections between the past and present, and between computer programming and other disciplines. He currently works at Dropbox on their developer tools, helping to make Dropbox engineers happy and productive.
Brandon and our previously announced keynote speaker, Carina C. Zona, round out a really exciting keynote line-up for our first ever conference.
Soon we’ll be launching our Attendee Wiki to help folks coordinate rideshares, birds of a feather sessions, and share the best food and activities Petaluma has to offer.
See you in a few weeks!
Cheers,
Josh
