Consider speaking at North Bay Python 2026!
Hello!
It’s Chris here, on vacation (in Australia). Someone pointed out that 2026 started some point after I departed, and that means that it’s now the same year as North Bay Python 2026 is happening! Doesn’t time fly?
I guess we need to start planning.
This year’s event is taking place April 25th and 26th at the Reis River Ranch in the Petaluma river valley, California.
We’re now looking for talk ideas! If you want to give a talk at North Bay Python, we’re very interested. We’re a Python conference at heart, and technical Python talks are our bread and butter (please tell us your favourite Python 3.14 joke), but what makes nbpy special are those talks that help us understand the context in which we operate, and the impact we have on the world: between the role of technology in civic engagement, the impacts (good, bad, or inconclusive) of AI, or literally anything else at the intersection of society and technology, we want to hear about it!
Talk submissions are open today, and close ~February 13th. You can submit your talks at https://pretalx.northbaypython.org/nbpy-2026/cfp
We can’t wait to hear from you! It’s going to be another great weekend in the barn later this year, but that’s all down to the quality of the talks and conversations we have.
Happy talk proposing time!
