Releasing an inclusive Jewish prayerbook!
That's right! The full version of Volume 1 of Siddur Davar Ḥadash is finally out! For those who don't know, Siddur Davar Ḥadash is my attempt to imagine one form that a de-gendered, de-stigmatized Diasporist Jewish liturgy might take. It contains interpretative versions of all the prayers — in Hebrew and English — reworked with replacements for passages that are sexist, xenophobic, or otherwise oppressive. In addition, it makes full use of a modified and expanded version of the Nonbinary Hebrew Project's third grammaical gender when referring to G-d or a generic worshiper. This has been an intense labor of love the past few years, and I am so proud it is finally finished. Head on over to check it out!
