There Are Many Ways to Get There

Hi There,

Everyone is looking for the perfect answer. The one magic answer that will get you there.

Should I try cold emailing or Linkedin? How many cold emails should I send? Should I follow up for the third time? How long does it take to write a 1,000-word blog?

Here is the thing: we all have these questions. But there is no one answer.

I wholeheartedly believe in cold emailing. It worked for me. I believe it's the single best tool for beginners. This is why I teach cold emailing. I also believe in the power of Linkedin. So I talk about that too. But that doesn't mean these are the only ways to succeed. If you are extrovert and amazing at networking, in-person social networking events may be your jam. If your ideal clients hang out on Facebook all the time, interacting with them in Facebook groups is also a great idea. There are many ways to get there.

And for the rest. It depends. It depends on so many factors.

Cold emailing is a numbers game. But we all have different lives. If you are single, childless or child-free, young, and don't have a job, you may have time to send out 10 or 20 cold emails a day. But if you are a single mom with two kids and two jobs, five cold emails a week may be a huge accomplishment. If you are dealing with chronic health issues or mental health challenges, you may not have the energy to cold email some days. And that's okay.

Don't compare yourself to other people. Focus on your path. Do your best (not other people's best!). Practice some self-compassion.

You will get there at your own pace on your own journey. I know it sounds like a cliche. But it's true. You can only walk your path. And I promise, if you are consistent at your own place, it will work out.

I believe in you,

Kat
