My Favorite Trick for Rainy Days
Hi There,
I have a folder on my phone called "Warm & Fuzzies". You should have one too.
What am I even talking about?
When I receive a kind email, comment, or dm complimenting my work or telling me how much my posts/advice/course/whatever helped them, I screenshot it and save it to this folder.
I can look at this folder whenever I need to. On "rainy days", when I feel down with self-doubt, it comes in handy. It serves as social proof that I'm being hard on myself and I don't actually suck.
I will be honest. I received this advice about 10 years ago. Since then, I've recommended the same to many others.
But I never did it myself.
It felt stupid.
I finally opened my "Warm & Fuzzies" folder last year.
I don't save every message. I don't always think about it. But I still have a nice little collection.
It helps so much and I have no idea why I didn't start this sooner.
Don't make the same mistake. If you haven't develop this habit yet, follow my advice, and open your "Warm & Fuzzies" folder too. You can give it another name if you wish.
I believe in you,
Kat
