Is weekly too frequent?
Every Monday, for the last 84 weeks, I've published one of these newsletters.
I sent the first issue out to 99 contacts back in June of 2019, and since then the list has grown organically to over 4.5k readers!
There's a big part of me that likes the idea of saying " every week for so-and-so years, I wrote my newsletter, never missing a week..." but I need to balance the benefits that do come from such consistency with what's actually needed to maintain a high-quality offering for current and future subscribers.
I have had a handful of people over the last year and a half say they don't need a weekly update (with some unsubscribing precisely because they think they hear from me too frequently) and some weeks I do wonder: W hat should I write? Is this content worth adding yet another email to each person's inbox?
So, readers, please can you help me out? I'd love your opinion:
Should I, especially now that the product has launched, keep up with these newsletters every single week? Or would another frequency be better?
