#81 - Two Launches
The second 'product' we'll be launching in February and the social media love and excitement we've received over the January launch!

Two launches

And I'm not talking about that secret, internal launch date I mentioned last week...

I'm talking about the realisation that The StoryGraph Plus — which over 700 people have pre-ordered so far! — is a whole product in and of itself and needs its own, separate, launch. 😅

Plus, coming to a StoryGraph near you February 2021!

From making sure that all of the features advertised exist (👀), to hooking in all of the self-service billing, like taking out a recurring subscription, cancelling and getting a refund (nobody will ever want do this though, right?), changing your payment details, etc., there's a lot there!

This doesn't even include all of the extra customer research I need to do to make sure that the offering, including pricing, makes sense.

So, yeah, expect the theme of an impending launch to continue into January. 😆

Psst. If you have any experience running, or being part of, a private/paid members forum or chat room, I'd love to hear a little more about what worked well and what didn't.

Last week

We're seeing usage of our site steadily increase as we get closer to 2021.

It seems readers are gearing up to the New Year and want to make sure that their book site of choice is ready to go! 🤓

We normally only have about 16-18k users across a 7-day period!

I also announced the launch date on our social media channels and the outpouring of excitement, love, and support was an incredible surprise.

Slowly working my way through Leif Enger's Peace Like A River. I do have to finish it before Jan 1 to complete a personal reading challenge of mine!
