Some clarifications

Thanks for all of the responses to the mood list last week! I loved each one.

To be clear:

Each book in the app will be labelled 'fiction' or 'non-fiction' and have a genre attached — and you'll be able to search specifying these. I'm only highlighting the moods feature as it's the main differentiator to what's already out there.

You won't be restricted to just one mood each time. You can select multiple and see what the app suggests.

But, I'm not a mood reader

And that's okay.

I know that not everyone identifies as one. But at the moment 'avid mood readers' are my key target market.

While I do have grand visions of how anyone who reads, or wants to get into reading, will be able to enjoy and get value from The StoryGraph, I need to focus in on a more niche audience if this product is going to ever get off the ground.

Even if you don't identify as an 'avid mood reader', I hope you'll still stick around because you're enjoying coming along for this ride.

Last week 

I didn’t manage to get as far as I would have liked with the TBR tools, but I did manage to complete a script that imports all of a user’s book data from Goodreads. 😁

This week

At the moment you can merely look at a list of books you plan to read (screenshot below).

Wouldn't it be great if you could easily search that list and filter it down based on what you're in the mood for?
