It will be February somewhere...

...hopefully!

Yes, it will be February somewhere in the world when we re-launch the Plus Plan with its Advanced Stats focus. 👀

Just like it was February somewhere three years ago when we first launched Plus (though I've got an extra day this time around)! 😅
Screenshot showing the top of the new incoming Compare Stats Upgrade. There are two sets of dropdowns at the top of a page with a two column layout. The right-hand side shows "Read Books", "2023", and "January" selected. The left-hand dropdowns are obscured because the top one is expanded to show the following options: Read Books, To-Read Pile, DNF Books, Owned Books, Moods, Fiction/Nonfiction, Genres, Star ratings, Tags
Coming soon to a Plus Plan near you: The ability to compare any two slices of your StoryGraph stats. 😎

So yes, I'm hunkering down on Plus for the next few days.

While the Early Birds are no longer nowhere near the majority of our subscribers (they form fewer than 10%), the first few days of March is still our most dense period for renewals, so I reckon it's a great time to launch the revamp!

It'll be somewhere in February! 💪🏾

Famous last words? 😬

Let's seeee! 😅

Since last time...

Apart from Plus I've started working on setting up book club meetings...
Screenshot of the upcoming New Book Club Meeting page. The fields visible are "Book", "Date& Time", and "Location". The first two fields have radio buttons underneath which read "Select book/date" and "Set up poll". "Set up poll" has been selected for both and the text underneath each radio button reads "You will be able to set up the poll later." For location, there's a text field, with a subtitle: "Insert an address or video conferencing link."
...and the Live Readalongs sort menu!
Screenshot of the top of the Public Readalongs page. There's a sort menu which has Newest First selected. The dropdown is expanded to show three further options: Oldest first, End Date: Soonest first, End date: Farthest away. Above the filter menu reads: "More search, sort, and filter options, and a "For You" section, coming soon."

Next two weeks

On top of my current WIPs, we're also exploring launching the Personalized Preview to everyone! 🙌🏾
Screenshot of the top of the StoryGraph book page for It's Our Turn to Eat by Michela Wron. Underneath the book tags is a grey-bordered box with tabs up top. The "Personalized (Plus)" tab is highlighted: Inside the box underneath reads "Based on your interest in books that explore the themes of ambition, power struggles, and the impact of technology on society, such as "Hatching Twitter" and "The Smartest Guys in the Room," it's likely that you'll find "It's Our Turn to Eat" by Michela Wrong to be a compelling read, as it delves into the..."

What I'm reading

I'll hopefully be finishing Christine soon as part of my (incredibly slow) chronological King read!

Have a great week,

Nadia
