Looks like I'm making a habit out of this...declaring Q4 to be "an ambitious quarter"... 

It's because I always get to October feeling behind on my goals for the year, but having this new recharged energy, especially after my birthday, to attack them with gusto. 💪🏾
 

We're still working on two out of the three things I was working on this time last year.  The design, especially the Dark Mode component, took a lot longer than expected...! 😅

And on top of those things — Plus Advanced Stats and Product Polish — we now have the Community/Social roadmap, Giveaways, and the upcoming StoryGraph Preview feature. 👀

There are certain things I just don't want to take into 2024 still saying they'll come soon... 😩

Okay, enough wasting time worrying about that. Back to work! 💪🏾

Second, our recommendations overhaul:
 

That's a lil' teaser of how the new page will look. There's more coming with updates to the reading preferences survey and an "Advanced Search" option. 😌
 

Alongside continuing the two streams of work mentioned above, I'll also be finalising the spec for V1 of our upcoming Readalongs and Book Club features!
 

I'll be starting Dust Child this week in preparation for the next instalment of our Instagram Book Club. I'll be interviewing the author, Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai, live on IG on October 29th at 12.30pm PT/3.30pm ET/7.30pm UK time.
