Prizes Outside of the US

Our Beta Giveaways Programme has been ticking along nicely!

Screenshot of top of Giveaways page on StoryGraph on mobile. At the top of the screen are three book covers side-by-side horizontally, under a title "For You". Then there is a collapsed "Filter giveaways" menu and one giveaway is shown underneath. Apart from the book title, tags, and host name, text on the giveaway pane stats that it is "available in 177 countries".
The third set of giveaways went live the other day!

Something we're delighted with is the fact that there are prizes available worldwide.

However, we want a wider range of options for people outside of the US and, for that, we need your help!

Do you have any favourite authors or publishers that aren't based in America? 👀

If so, please get in touch with them and let them know that you'd love to see a giveaway of theirs on StoryGraph.

The next round of listings is a fantastic one to get involved in. It runs from December 19th until January 18th. StoryGraph usage always picks up around the Christmas/New Year period and the first few days of January are typically the busiest days on the app. 📈

Since last time...

We launched stats for owned books! 🥳

Apart from some old favourites...
Screenshot of the top of an Owned Books Stats page on StoryGraph. Underneath the page heading, "Owned Books Stats", is a bigger pane, featuring the number of books, pages, and hours (354 books, 125,274 pages, 216.12 hours), and then two pie charts, the top one being "Moods" and the second "Pace". The very top of the "Page number" pie chart can be seen.

...we are excited to release a new chart, exclusive to your StoryGraph Owned Books stats:
Pie chart showing proportion of my read vs unread books amongst the ones I own. The data are as follows: read, in green, 78%, and unread, in purple, 22%.
What proportion of the books you own have you read?

The ask for five-star reviews in the App and Play Stores went very well! Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to write one. I read them all and they made me so happy! 🥰

Next two weeks

I really hope that I've finished all of the usability interviews for the proposed re-design and that we've made fantastic progress with all of our planned 2022 stats updates! 🤞🏾

What I'm reading

I did indeed finish the two big books I was reading and now I've picked up George M. Johnson's All Boys Aren't Blue. We're both keynoting at the same tech conference next week and I want to read their book before meeting them!
Screenshot of book pane of George M. Johnson's All Boys Aren't Blue. The cover is on the left, feature the head and neck of a black person, with a colourful flower arrangement on their head. To the right is the white book pane with all of the book information. It is tagged with: nonfiction, lgbtqia+, memoir, race, emotional, inspiring, reflective, and medium-paced. It has 320 pages and was first published in 2020. There's a grey progress bar which is 4% filled with green. It's marked as 'currently reading' and 'owned'. There's a custom tag at the bottom labelled 'nov-tbr'.

Have a great week,

Nadia
