What a journey!
Exactly one year ago we started Private Early Access. It’s been two months since the full launch. Athena Crisis received a user rating of 90% on Steam and development has only accelerated since: Just look at the list of changes in November alone. Thanks for sticking with us! Curated Campaigns
5 high-quality community campaigns were chosen as our first Curated Campaigns. These high-quality well-maintained campaigns extend gameplay by many hours, allow you to collect stars for the shop, and give you skills as rewards.
Invasion Skills
It was so interesting to design invasions. We had lots of ideas for it, but once it actually shipped it felt like 100 more ideas came together all at once. Since the launch we made tons of changes to make invasions more fun and give you more rewards.
Many of the skills now activate when you consume a crystal. This gives you one more option to make use of a Power Crystal in single-player mode, or could give you a slight edge when consuming a Valor or Phantom crystal.
We also added some skills specifically for invasions:
What else did we do since launch?
We focused on making the game play and feel as good as possible. There are new visual hints for moved units, leader units and we show you which units are being transported. The game now looks and works much better on mobile devices than before, we balanced skills and units both for single-player and PvP.
Oh, and we also shipped costumes like the Vampire Medic and different styles for Pioneers, Infantry and Rocket Launcher units which you can buy using stars in the in-game shop!
