G’day,

Back in my first newsletter article of the year, I mentioned that one of 2025’s goals was to publish 25 titles before the year is out. Dubbed, oh-so-creatively, 25 in ‘25 😎 (just be glad I don’t put out books with titles like Crime Novel #1).

But boy am I behind.

I had good intentions. I have more than the required number of the stories in the queue done, though there is still some work needed to take manuscripts and turn them into books that you can hold in your hand or find in your favorite e-tailer.

Then summer hit.

Then fall came.

And I got …

Maybe you can relate. Or maybe, unlike me, you have an iron will and immense personal discipline — in which case, you won’t be forced to do what I will for the remainder of this fast-approaching end of year date: hustle.

I could give up on the goal. It will be difficult to hit now, what with fewer weeks left in the year than titles needing publishing in order to hit the goal of 25.

But I’m not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

So this email is mostly to say that I’m alive (I’m sure you were worried), and I hope to have a number of updates for you in the coming weeks about a bevy of new titles for your reading pleasure. I may do some kind of weekly or bi-weekly update with everything published to keep myself honest.
