Figures and Plots That Stay in Sync

One tricky thing about making scientific figures is interleaving figures and plots. Sometimes they're not made by the same person - and if you want to make a tiny change to a plot you have to track down the owner so they can re-run their entire analysis pipeline.

If they're busy (or have left the organization entirely), you might just have to figure out how to run their poorly documented python notebook - good luck! 🫡

I just updated BioGraphics to let you build a plot, insert it alongside your figure, and all changes to the plot will be synced! It'll even export as a high res image alongside your figure.
