Almost nothing and still something
It’s been six years since I sold art in person, but Saturday, November 22, I will be at Lemontree (coffee shop in Millvale!) from 11am-4pm with original paintings, prints, postcards, and stickers. If you live in Pittsburgh, come say hi!
This is the first annual Pittsburgh Pounders holiday sale (that’s my baseball team!) and Lemontree is owned by two very sweet humans on the team (Sam McCoy and Bobby Smith). Another teammate (Darren Myers) is also organizing. Stop by for a coffee or a sandwich, walk around and look at art, buy a Pounders shirt, and hang out with us!
New art:
I’ve been cutting up paintings that didn’t make it into my show in January (IF I’VE EVER LOVED YOU, I STILL DO) to collage new pieces. Here’s one of them:

Untitled, 2025, mixed media collage, 5×9” I’ve also been learning about off-loom weaving and paper weaving. Here are a two test pieces I made recently.

Sarah Ward Podlesny’s work (Lark and Bower) inspired me to try this
I cut up my own paintings for this one
Reality check:
It’s been 7 months since I sent my last email. Everything feels precarious to me right now. Personally, politically, relationally, physically, all of it. I’m just kind of flailing around, trying to figure out what will stick. Most days I don’t make art. Sending this email is almost nothing and still something.
More soon 🖤
