New blog, who dis?
I’ve decided to move my newsletter from Substack to Buttondown for a few reasons. First, I am concerned about Substack well-documented and extensive platforming of hate speech. Secondly, I care about your personal data. Buttondown doesn't collect subscriber data by default, and allows creators to disable all tracking (open rates, click rates, analytics - which I have done), and maintains one of the strongest privacy policies in the industry.
