Words of Wisdom for the Week
Mentors are helpful at any stage of your career. It’s OK to have a few of them too; some may be great engineers, others great leaders. Being a mentor is also terrific for lifting others up.
Shameless Plugs
- This past week Arsalan Khattak joined us for Walkthrough Wednesdays on the DEV Twitch Stream. We discussed/live coded creating a back end with Fastify.
- This week on the DEV Twitch stream we have Laurie Barth, Senior Software Engineer at Netflix! We’re going to discuss tech interviews from the perspective of those hiring and those looking for a new role.
- I’m running two workshops with a couple of coworkers for CodeLand 2021. One is on open source, the other on accessibilty. There’s a few spots left, if these topics are your jam!
Until the next issue!
