If you own NFTs, this is a useful thread for securing them, and honestly probably just some general crypto good to know about wallets.
1/ On How To Secure Your NFTs
— 6529 (@punk6529) November 19, 2021
Where are your NFTs out in the metaverse?
How do you store them?
How do you keep people from stealing them?!
How do you pass down your Grails to your grandkids?
Let’s find out!
I try not to put stuff in the newsletter that is probably on everyone’s radar, but it’s pretty incredible that Vercel has gone from series A to series D in two years. Lee Robinson has a great post on working in a hypergrowth company.
Julia Evans is always great at explaining things. In this post she digs into esbuild
This is super cool! I didn’t know that Twitter had shortcut keys. 😎

Words of Wisdom for the Week
Why I obsess over asking the right questions:
— swyx 🗽 (@swyx) November 18, 2021
You can give a bad answer to a good question, but it’s impossible to give a good answer to a bad question.
Shawn Wang, a.k.a. swyx, always has some great knowledge nuggets. I definitely encourage everyone to keep asking questions, the point here is more digging into things like is this really the problem we’re trying to solve? I imagine most people subscribed to this newsletter already follow him on Twitter, but if not, he’s a great follow.
I also encourage you to check out The Swyx Mixtape
Shameless plugs
I was responding to one of the CodeNewbie questions on Twitter this past week about tools we’re thankful for. I was mentioning browser tools and then dropped a talk I had given about debugging JavaScript as this is one of the things you use browser tools for. TLDR; check out my talk if you’re new to or even already familiar with debugging JavaScript. 😎
For anyone interested, I did a lunch and learn for @VirtualCoffeeIO on debugging JavaScript with browser tools. https://t.co/AAfnyxrUdR #CodeNewbie

We’re back next week with the last DEV Twitch stream of the year. I’m really looking forward to hanging out with Gift!
No Twitch stream today. We have one more DEV stream on December 1st with @lauragift_ and then that’s a wrap for 2021. See you then!#DEVCommunity

Also, if you aren’t following DEV or myself on Twitch yet, you know what to do. 😎
