Words of Wisdom for the Week
Some sound advice for all the speakers and aspiring speakers out there.
"It doesn't matter if you know everything about something. If you cannot build a good story and connect with your audience, you will fail. Storytelling is a crucial soft skill if you want to be a great speaker." – Estela Franco on Twitter
And I know that my friend Bekah agrees with this. Check out her keynote from THAT conference about storytelling.
Shameless Plugs
Monday, I gave my talk, "Fresh: a new full stack web framework for Deno", at Node Congress. I was remote, but it was a lot of fun still. Even though I stream all the time, give talks at meetups, lunch & learns at Virtual Coffee etc., this was my first conference talk!
The video recording isn't available yet, but you'll find it here 👇🏻

I also had a tonne of fun hanging with Shruti Kapoor this week. We dug into the <canvas />
