Yet Another Newsletter LOL: Groundhog
Another week, another newsletter. Let's get to it!
Around the Web
- If you're interested in learning React Native, the Unleash the Power of React Native to Build Mobile Apps course from freeCodeCamp looks like fire!
- For folks interested in all things AI, which is a lot of folks these days, my co-worker Matt Kane created a template for an OpenAI chat bot app, built with React, Tailwind and TypeScript. Check out daneel!
- Another great write up from my co-worker Ryan Carniato, Making the Case for Signals in JavaScript.
- Storybook 7 is out! It's their first major release in a couple of years. Check out all the goodness!
Fun Stuff
This video is from last year, but it came on my radar again this past weekend. Love this groundhog.
Words of Wisdom for the Week
A reminder to write that blog post even if someone has written about it before.

Shameless Plugs
I had Mike Hartington on my Twitch stream this week, but unfortunately, my computer had other ideas. We were halfway through the stream and my audio software just died. Mike was such a great sport about it and we've rescheduled for April 27th! Definitely come hang with us again. In the meantime, there was still some goodness from the stream, so check out an extended highlight with Mike in the meantime and don't forget to give a follow!
I'm also excited to be hanging with Shruti Kapoor next week! We're going to have some fun with videos and <canvas />
!
Jobs
- A couple of great job openings at OpenSauced! I love all the stuff they're doing there. They’re looking for a senior frontend and senior infrastructure engineer. (Remote) Don't pass up on this opportunity to get paid to work in open source! 🍕
I post jobs in the iamdeveloper.com community, plus all other kinds of content, as do others. If you're looking for another friendly nook of the internet, head over to discord.iamdeveloper.com.
