Yet Another Newsletter: :has()
Another week, another newsletter. Let's get to it!
Around the Web
- My awesome co-worker John McBride has been digging into some Open AI stuff recently, and he highly recommends the Open AI Cookbook.
- Speaking of cookbooks, the folks working on the Ignite, a React Native boilerplate, have made some updates to the Ignite Cookbook.
- JSR (JavaScript Registry), is a new project from the folks at Deno, and they wrote about it. Check out How we built JSR.
- XState, a popular library for state machines, just released @xstate/store. If you're looking for simple state management that is similar to other libraries, like Zustand, check it out!
Fun Stuff
Charlie Gerard did something super dope. She hacked a car to unlock it using JavaScript! π€―
Shameless Plugs
This past Monday, I got to hang with my buddy Anthony Campolo. We dug into AI Frontends. Check it out!
And the week before, I got to hang with Kevin Thomas VanCott, one of the maintainers of TanStack Table.
Lastly, I got a shoutout in a recent CSS Tricks article, The Power of :has() in CSS. Thanks, CSS Tricks!
That's a wrap! Until the next one.
