Welcome to the first edition of my newsletter. I’ve never had a newsletter, even though I’ve been blogging for a quarter of a century. I’m looking forward to the adventure and I hope you’ll join me.

Those are the main themes I’ll be writing about. It’s all intertwined. It all matters. And you can’t really silo each subject. I take a wholistic view of it all.

I often read news articles that are accessibility or disability related. And I have opinions. So I shall share thoughts about what I read.

From the blog

I don’t write long form blog posts as often as I used to. But I’ll share blog posts I’ve written so they come straight to your inbox in case you don’t do the RSS thing.

I may also occasionally share older pieces I wrote that I think are of interest.

From the podcasts

I’ll tell you about upcoming episodes or share older episodes.

I’ll also share podcast news. Like… Did you know I’m finally progressing my transition from WordPress to a static site for the show? Loads to do still but I’m a lot closer to the finish line than I was even a month ago.

The occasional art piece

I am exploring sketching and watercolor. Many of you have expressed that you like what I’ve shared on social media. So I’m planning to include a sketch per newsletter release.

Controversial and off-topic

I was told to avoid controversial topics. But what is controversial? Robin might find one thing controversial that Alex finds innocuous. And sometimes, I will tell you some truths that you will find uncomfortable. There’s growth to be had there.

As for off-topic subjects… I’m a whole person. One might think a sketch in the newsletter is off-topic. But it is from me. It is of me. Like this newsletter shall be. So for the purpose of the newsletter, anything I include is on topic.
