Next Level Banana updates: PRGE, MAGFest
Hello friends! Here’s what’s going on with me lately.
Portland Retro Gaming Expo (October 9-11): I decided not to submit a game this year. You can still find me there, helping to run the PIGSquad booth! But this year I wanted to focus on volunteering and to make a space for newer folks.
But that doesn’t mean my calendar is empty. My newest alt-control game, Nuclear Logistics Bureau’s Typing Challenge, has been accepted to the MAGFest Indie Arcade (Jan 7-10)! Unfortunately badges are already sold out (!), but if you’re one of the lucky ones, swing by and flip a switch or two. I think most of my prep for this is going to be things like documenting the wiring, making backups, and figuring out how to fly with this contraption. A black box with a bunch of wires doesn’t look suspicious at all, right?…
Meanwhile, I’m still chipping away at my park ranger sim, Repairia. I haven’t talked a lot about it because it’s still just a mishmash of proofs of concepts, placeholders, and the occasional real asset. But hey, since you opened my newsletter, I’ll show you the last progress gif I shared with my artist:

Would you like to see more frequent updates about Repairia? What do you hope I include in the game? What should I have for lunch? Let me know!
