Earlier this year, I made a new alt-control game: Nuclear Logistics Bureau’s Typing Challenge.

Use the toggle switches to type to the mainframe one character at a time. Try not to destroy civilization.

And you have a chance to play it! I’m going to be exhibiting this game at the upcoming Portland Indie Game Con.

And mine won’t be the only alt control game there! We’ve got a whole little section going with games like Line Wobbler and Choosatron. I’m really excited about this because I love alt control (obviously) and there are literally two other events I know of that I could show at. One of those costs thousands of dollars for a ticket (GDC), and the other is on the East coast (MAGFest). But THIS event is right here in Portland, and tickets are cheap! ($45 for the full weekend.)

I’m gonna be working hard between now and then to build the next version of my input terminal. The one you see in the photo there, it looks pretty good, but it has 2 major problems: (a) the box is cardboard and (b) no LEDs. I intend to fix both of those.
