  • New 10-month program, Certificate in Journalism in Indigenous Communities (CJIIC), seeking experienced Indigenous journalists to teach, and recruiting students for the first cohort in September 2025.
  • MIT Solve has launched its 2025 Global Challenges and Indigenous Communities Fellowship, calling on innovators worldwide to submit transformative, tech-driven solutions to some of the planet's most pressing and persistent problems.

  • Tulalip Tribes and DOH sign historical Tribal-specific data sharing agreement, granting the ability to oversee the collection of public health data from across enrolled members, and sovereignty over how this data is utilized for tribal benefit.

Animikii Social Impact Report 2024

Animikii has reported on social impact since 2016, and each year we have sought to paint a picture of our work and overall impact using storytelling as one means of reporting to our community. For our 2024 social impact report we will focus on a few of the stories and specific work our team accomplished this year and how it exemplifies each main aspect of our social impact mission.  These are some of the important stories we were part of this year.
