New programs addressing representation in tech

Boozhoo News River readers,
This week, we heard about several programs across the country that are working towards greater representation in the tech industry, including programs at Camosun College and in Thunder Bay. Another program, Code Girls United was one of seven winners of last year’s MIT Solve Gender Equality in STEM Challenge, and is currently active in several Indigenous communities in Montana. In industry news, Raven Indigenous Capital Partners and Pow Wow Pitch are partnering for the second year. This partnership will empower Indigenous entrepreneurs by offering support, mentorship, funding access, and more.
