Indigenous innovators needed

Aaniin News River readers! That beautiful graphic above this message can only mean one thing: spring is here!
This week, our CEO Jeff Ward is in Tulsa, Oklahoma to connect with the leadership group from the MIT Solve | 2023 Indigenous Communities Fellowship.
The challenge is accepting applications for innovators supporting community-based solutions by and for Indigenous communities across the United States and Canada. Do you work in energy sovereignty, climate solutions, business development, or health and wellness? Do you have an idea that builds upon traditional knowledge and technology to meet the social, environmental, and economic goals of your community? We know many of our readers could have what it takes to be selected for a share of $1 million in available funding.
To learn more: check out the MIT Solve challenge homepage at the link below, or attend a virtual application clinic to learn more about the program and how to apply.
We’re grateful to have our headquarters on traditional territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Lkwungen, Songhees and Esquimalt) Peoples of the Coast Salish Nation.
