Keep your eye on the sky this week, we are sharing a pair of drone-related stories, including teaching secondary school students in Inuvik the basics of mini-drone tech and telling an ancient Anangu sacred story above Uluru in Australia. In sustainability and innovation news out here on the West Coast, Coast Funds is empowering First Nations in the Great Bear Rainforest and Haida Gwaii to achieve healthy and vibrant economies and communities. Celebrating 4 Million Moosehide Pins! May 11th was the 12th annual Moose Hide Campaign Walk, where events were held across Canada to draw attention to gender-based violence. Over 400,000 Canadians took part in person and virtually. The Campaign recently celebrated a major milestone by presenting their 4 millionth pin to Senator Michelle Audette. We challenge you to learn more about the Moose Hide Campaign, keep an eye on their ongoing efforts, and get involved next year!
