Data, AR, and AI are Shaping Indigenous Futures

Web Version

Boozhoo News River readers,

In this week's edition, we are linking back to one of the most popular articles we have shared this year:

  • CBC Radio show Unreserved dug into "Why Indigenous people are fighting for data sovereignty"

And, we found a few other articles that bland the traditional and the technical:

  • An augmented reality app brings buffalo back to Regina parks.
  • Mexican startup supporting Indigenous artists scores major Adidas contract.

We're pleased to announce the launch of the First Peoples’ Cultural Foundation new website. 🚀

Established in 2000, the Foundation supports the vitality of Indigenous languages, arts, and cultural heritage. As a registered charity, they provide crucial grant funding to Indigenous organizations and communities.

It's an honour to have partnered with them on this project, as our values closely align. The new site will enhance their ability to lift up Indigenous culture and connect with communities in a good way.
