Hello!

I hope everyone is as excited as I am for the first meeting of the New Orleans Sewist Society (aka NOLA Sew-So). My current thought is to have meetings on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm until about 7:30pm, starting on March 11th.

For location: one of my old professors at UNO has extended the offer to let us hold meetings in room 138 of the Liberal Arts building on campus. The room can fit up to nine people, but if more people RSVP than the room would allow, I can see about using another room. Worst case, we can go into the courtyard (weather permitting).

I made a GroupMe to make it easier to RSVP for the monthly meetups, as well as any events we put on as a club.
