We hope you've all recovered from your encounter with the sequined scream-queens of Queers for Fears. You sold out the show and you made it feel exactly like home for everyone, and we can’t wait to do it all again.

We’ll come back to that line later. Here’s what’s next: a tribute to a singular and unforgettable man, "Spicy Curry: A Tim Curry Burlesque Tribute."

Tim Curry has been giving queers of all persuasions the permission they need to be Too Much for his entire career. Frank-N-Furter in fishnets and pearls. Pennywise in the storm drain. Darkness, Wadsworth, Long John Silver, Hexxus and his toxic love. Not once did he ever play it small. He made the villain the best-dressed person in the room and the reason you kept watching. For a lot of us he was the first human on screen having as much fun being strange as we secretly wanted to. “Don't dream it, be it” became the anthem of countless lives. So we're throwing him the party he deserves.

You can expect: camp, horror, fantasy, delicious villainy. You will see burlesque and drag artists reimagining Curry's most iconic roles across film, TV, stage, and maybe even video games. Whether you can recite Rocky Horror from the callbacks alone or you only know him as "the voice from that cartoon," this is a night to get queer, get loud, and get a little bit dark and naughty.

And we mean this: come dressed as your favorite Tim Curry character. Fishnets and pearls, a hook, a butler's tails, a full Muppet-pirate, however the Curry Spirit moves you.
