Seattle Film Festival: Virtual Round
We're in another virtual festival. Here's how you can watch.

We’re in yet another virtual film festival, this time it’s the Seattle Film Festival, a local festival that’s been running for almost a decade. I’m super psyched to finally land a local event, even if this round is online. There’s an in person festival at the end of June and should we make it there (we’ll make it anywhere) we hope you like the film so much you’ll watch it twice, once online and once in person.
The online festival is hosted on EO Flix. Creating an account is free but you will need to buy a ticket to access the screenings. We got a best screenplay selection — yay for the writer, may they do more screenwriting in the future! But also, there’s a People’s Choice component where you can cast a vote for us. Which, ya know, we really want you to do.
The festival is completely open to the public so we’d love you to share the link to our film with anyone and everyone you think might enjoy it. The online portion runs for a whole month — if you missed the Hollywood Shorts online screening, here’s a second chance!
We got a pile of rejections recently, but I’ve become quite circumspect about those. Palm Springs gets nearly 3000 submissions while the big guys like Sundance hit 30,000. The odds alone are staggering. Also, we have a fantastic film. The odds of getting a film made alone, well. Yeah.
So. Share with abandon. Tell everyone you know. Vote for us. Support independent film. You don’t need my nudge on that last one, I already know you do.
I’m always amazed and grateful to be here. I’m seriously considering getting a laurel branch tattoo.
