Oscar Notes

Two things:

There's a screening coming, I promise. It turns out film takes as long as it takes. There are a lot of people involved, even for a small project like the Elvis picture. Each human involved interjects their own human issues into the process. So. Yeah.

Also, please watch Cord Jefferson's short acceptance speech for his best screenplay adaptation award. It is the honey in my coffee this morning, it makes me feel like getting my feature film made is possible. He was "just" a guy who wrote for Gawker, one of my favorite guilty pleasures.

And now he's got an Oscar for his screenplay. I mean, we're basically the same, I'm just some web hack too.
