What happened exactly? Late last year (2023), our previous newsletter home, Tinyletter, informed us that they were concluding services. Mailchimp had bought Tinyletter years ago and was now, finally, closing down the Tinyletter brand and reducing redundancies. That's modern capitalism - what can you do?

Well, here's what we did. We moved over to Buttondown, a service that does not collect or track data on subscribers and which emphasizes a simple user experience, for both the subscriber and the creator. We are here now, so we hope you will stick around. We hope you'll excuse the learning curve of us figuring out all the Buttondown features.
