Hello Everyone!
As you all know, this is the week of our convention, and I hope that many of you can attend. A few weeks ago, John Hinson sent out an email requesting help in handling the dealers’ and exhibits’ rooms, lectures, the auction, and the show. If you are going to the convention and already contacted John to help, then thank you very much! You are doing much better than me.
For those of us who haven’t contacted John, be sure to do so. It really helps all of us. The shifts are around 60-90 minutes for the rooms and lectures, or the entire time of the event for the auction and shows. Signing up for two or more shifts and one of the events is greatly appreciated. It spreads the convention work over more people so that we all get to enjoy the time equally.
This is our event, and we are all hosts to the guests who put the time and money in to attend our convention. I feel strongly that all members attending should put in the time to help make our convention top notch. You may feel that by volunteering your time that you might miss something. Trust me, you won’t. I and others have done this for quite a long time and we have never felt that we missed anything. If anything, it added to our convention experience.
So again, please consider helping with the convention. You can contact John Hinson at [email protected], or see him when you arrive at the convention.
Many thanks to you all, and see you there.

- Dan Bybell
