Dear ,
Thank you for registering for Yankee Gathering XVII. We have several exciting events planned and look forward to meeting both old and new friends. This note contains some last minute details about the opening events, hotel registration, and registering items for our auction.
Registration will open at 10AM Thursday, November 15th in the DoubleTree Hotel lobby. Yankee Gathering XVII formally kicks off with our traditional Wine and Cheese Reception at 7PM, followed by the Opening Ceremony at 8PM.
Hotel Registration
Now is the time to make your hotel reservation if you've not already done so. The special Yankee Gathering room rate will expire after October 14th. Rooms are likely to be available after the 14th, though we suggest making your reservation as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Details on booking your hotel room can be found on our Registration page.
Auction Registration
NEMCA seeks quality magic items, including posters, books, apparatus, memorabilia, etc., for our auction on Friday afternoon. Please, no reproductions (such as tin metal posters), broken items, etc. Use the Flea Market for such pieces.
Items must have a minimum value of $25. Items can be “lotted” together to make up the minimum value. NEMCA will only charge 20% on all items sold. There will be a 2.75% buyers fee for those paying with credit card, otherwise there will be no buyers fee.
There are a few ways to submit your items to the auction:
1. Fill out this online form. A copy of the completed form will be emailed back to you. Please print out an extra copy for your records and bring it with you to the auction.
2. Print a copy of this form and mail/email it using the instructions on the form.
This auction is first come, first serve. We have only 3 hours for the event so the sooner you submit your items, the more likely they will get into the auction. If you have any questions about items and whether they should be submitted, please reach out to: Robert Olsen ([email protected]) or David Hill ([email protected]).
See you at the Gathering!
