This once-in-a-lifetime, never-to-be-repeated experience is the first of what will become a year-long celebration, around the world, on the centenary of the great magician’s passing.
The Magic Conference is this Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Douglaston, Queens, in New York City, and is only $65.00 for the conference registration (Registration includes a $40.00 Magic goody bag).
Saturday is shaping up to be an unforgettable day, featuring one-of-a-kind lectures, talks, panel discussions, performances, and an afternoon reception hosted by the New England Magic Collectors Association (NEMCA).
The conference will start at 10 am and run until 6 pm, focusing on the Houdini family's arrival in the USA, Houdini’s time in NYC as an adolescent, a young magician, a dedicated son, a writer, publisher, showman, and as the great escape artist and master magician.
If that’s not enough, a tour of several magicians’ final resting places will occur on Sunday, in the Borough of Queens. A donation of $30.00 is requested for this event. All proceeds from this tour will benefit the Houdini Gravesite Restoration Fund, a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization.
As mentioned, there will also be a special event in the afternoon of a New England Magic Collectors’ Magician’s Social, which will include a very special Magic Show.
