Our first meeting of the year is scheduled for Sunday, March 19th at 1:00 at the Ashland Magic Barn. Directions to this hidden gem are found at the bottom of this page. Attendees are invited to join us for lunch prior to the meeting at Stone's Public House at 11:15 AM.
Note for our remote members: This meeting will be recorded and shared on the member section of our web site after the event. Live streaming will be available for future events.
Our first meeting of the year will kickoff with a brief “state of the organization," followed by a special guest lecture, and a Show-and-Tell of association pieces from attendees’ collections.
Dr. Chris Wasshuber of Lybrary.com will present on his fascinating book, The Card Sharp and His Book: A Century-Old Mystery Solved. Most if, not all of you, are aware that The Expert at the Card Table by S. W. Erdnase is the “bible” for many card magicians. But who was S. W. Erdnase?
Many researchers have investigated this question and now Chris believes he has finally found the truth. Learn more details on Chris's fascinating research here.

Our final activity will be a show-and-tell of member's association pieces. If you have pieces associated with well-known magicians, please bring those pieces to the meeting to share.
This will be our first in-person meeting in three years. It will be a lot of fun as well as informative.
Please RSVP if you plan to attend the meeting and the lunch, or only the meeting. We need to be sure we have adequate seating for the meeting attendees and we need to prepare the restaurant for a large group.
Additionally, Chris has offered to bring copies of his book for purchase at the meeting. Please let me know if you would like to buy one at the meeting to get signed by the author and to save on postage. Chris has asked me to give him an estimate of the number of copies he should bring.
