Georges Méliès and magic. An evidence !

There is only one place where lovers of cinema and magic can pay tribute to him: Père Lachaise in Paris. The grave dates from 1881 and has suffered the ravages of time despite regular maintenance. We wish to restore it in all its splendor of 1954 (date when the bust of Carvillani was posed.)

Méliès was above all a magician and he was all his life. Ardent defender of the corporation, he founded in 1891 the Academy of Prestidigitation. He became President and will remain so until his death in 1938.
