Motherfreaking Fun Factory is out TOMORROW; NYCC this weekend!

Hey, Kids! It’s Nice Jewish Words & Comics!, the latest installment from Neil Kleid's monthly newsletter with updates and info about his latest projects!
Hello hello! We’ll do a proper newsletter later this month, but welcome to October and the s-s-s-poooooky season…which means that:
RETURN TO THE MOTHERFREAKING FUN FACTORY IS OUT TOMORROW!
That’s right, friends — Neil’s original horror novella hits bookstores (and audio bookstores!) this Tuesday, tomorrow, October 6th and you can all finally dive into my thrilling tiny tale of toy factory terror!

You all have no idea how excited I am for you to meet our contest winner and the four losers, and of course, meet our whimsical pal Barnaby Bigby, his sidekick Orville, and get mired in the darkness of the Bigby Toys factory — a world of pure imagination…and evisceration.
I will be doing a bunch of interviews and a few local signings for the book in the next weeks — keep up with me on Instagram and Bluesky to stay aware of all that — and, of course, I’ll be signing copies this weekend at the annual New York Comic-Con at the Javits Center! Here’s my schedule for the weekend below:

If you’re coming to NYCC, and will be around on Friday or Sunday, please drop by the Blackstone Publishing booth (#3544) to get a book if you don’t have one yet, get a book signed, and just say hello…and also please swing by our “Jewish Identity in Comics” panel on Sunday afternoon!

Big week! Fun stuff — can’t wait for you all to read Return to the Motherfreaking Fun Factory! As a whet to your considerable literally whistles, as Barnaby Bigby might phrase it, here are some graphics below that introduce you to our main characters…and to our old pal Orville (with fantastic art by my MEDIEVAL co-author, Alex Cormack! Oh, man; we should totally make plush versions of Orville.) Good luck out there, pardners. See you all soon, in the Frontier Room. You’ll love it so much that you’ll never ever want to (or be able to) leave.
—Neil
