TMUX Mysteries and VHS Tapes
Hey folks,
When does Fall start? Late September? Nah, I say Fall is already here because school has started! 🍂
Things I Wrote
Last week on my blog I talk a little bit about why tmux
has never clicked for me.
When you hear something several times but your own experience was markedly different you begin to wonder ... are I the outlier? I might STILL be the outlier but now I have a better idea of why I bounced off it.
It also illustrates to me that even though many of us do similar things, the WAY we do it can vary wildly.
Interesting Web Bits
- Someone recreated ye olde Blockbuster Video VHS inserts for ... fun? I don't know what else you'd use this for. 🤷
- While we're talking about VHS tapes, check out Chandler Woodward's reimagined VHS covers for modern films. (Hat tip to my buddy Max Fenton for this one)
- An interesting mental framework for cataloging challenges: Harvesting, Fishing, and Panning for Gold
- So asteroid mining might become a thing? 🌌🚀
- I don't normally enjoy recounts of boardgames or RPG sessions, but this story of a game of Twilight Imperium was pretty entertaining.
- This lenticular clock build is pretty neat.
